Junior year has so far been very frustrating, but at the same time it has been a great experience. I have started to grow and learn new things. I am currently behind in two of my classes, Geometry and Biology. Math has never been my strong suit it’s very difficult for me to understand, in biology I only have one MT left but it requires a large amount of work with some math in it. This semester has had its rough patches and of course every semester does but it has also had its sweet spots. I have finished work, met goals, and learned that there is a deadline in life there is no such thing as being late in the real world.
What matters is professionalism, being on time, and giving all your effort. I feel like this semester has helped me mature not only in school, but in my personal life as well. I’ve gone through a break up started doubting myself and dealt with family issues. This semester has helped me realize to move on from all of that and to focus on what matters and that is my future. Thanksgiving break has just passed and it was great it seemed like everything is falling back into place. I am caught up in English and I’m staying on pace in my new classes. My goal for next semester is to be completely caught up and to receive all of my credits so I can graduate on time. I still do hope next semester I can do even better and enjoy the rest of my junior year.
In my second semester of high school I have accomplished a lot more and I am now on pace in six of my periods and only still have geometry to work on. I have been learning several things have become more positive in my life and education. I feel more prepared for senior year and I believe I can accomplish so much more than before.
I have also have patched things up with my partner and we are also moving forward into our senior year together. I have realized things that things aren't always as hard as they seem as long as you keep moving and learn from your experiences. I am partially sad but only because of the many fine and amazing learning facilitators leaving this year, they will be greatly missed. Junior year overall has been very hard yet fulfilling and has given me the opportunity to open my eyes and grow to achieve success in life. I am hoping I can have an even greater year when I become a senior next year and learn from more experiences.
